Agreement to Terms
By booking transportation services with Royal Carriage Limousine ("Company," "we," "our"), you ("Customer," "you") agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
Services
Royal Carriage Limousine provides luxury ground transportation services including but not limited to:
- Airport transfers to/from O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW)
- Corporate and executive transportation
- Wedding transportation
- Special events and party bus services
- Hourly charter services
- Long-distance transportation
Reservations and Booking
Booking Confirmation
All reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment or credit card authorization. You will receive a confirmation email with booking details.
Accurate Information
You are responsible for providing accurate pickup/drop-off addresses, flight information (for airport transfers), and contact details. We are not liable for delays or missed pickups resulting from incorrect information.
Minimum Hours
Hourly services require minimum booking durations that vary by vehicle type:
- Sedans and SUVs: 2-hour minimum
- Stretch limousines: 3-hour minimum
- Party buses: 4-hour minimum
Pricing and Payment
Quoted Rates
All quoted rates include the base fare, vehicle rental, and professional chauffeur service. Additional charges may apply for:
- Tolls (billed at cost)
- Airport fees and permits
- Excessive wait time beyond included grace period
- Additional stops not in original booking
- After-hours service (surcharge may apply)
Gratuity
A 20% gratuity is automatically added to all bookings. Additional gratuity is at your discretion for exceptional service.
Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), corporate accounts, and cash. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellations
- 24+ hours notice: Full refund or credit
- 12-24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 12 hours notice: 100% charge (no refund)
Special Event Cancellations
Wedding, prom, and other special event bookings may have different cancellation policies specified at the time of booking.
No-Shows
Failure to appear at the scheduled pickup location within 15 minutes (30 minutes for airport arrivals) constitutes a no-show and will be charged in full.
Passenger Responsibilities
Conduct
Passengers must conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner. We reserve the right to terminate service immediately for:
- Violent, abusive, or threatening behavior
- Illegal activity
- Excessive intoxication that poses safety risks
- Smoking or vaping in vehicles (strictly prohibited)
- Damaging vehicle interior or equipment
Vehicle Care
Passengers are responsible for any damage to the vehicle during their rental period. Cleaning fees may apply for excessive mess (minimum $150) or bodily fluid cleanup ($250+).
Capacity Limits
For safety and legal reasons, we strictly enforce vehicle passenger capacity limits. Exceeding stated capacity is not permitted.
Airport Service Terms
Flight Tracking
We monitor all flights for arrivals. Pickups are scheduled based on actual landing time, not scheduled time.
Wait Time
Domestic arrivals include 45 minutes of complimentary wait time after landing. International arrivals include 60 minutes. Additional wait time is charged at the hourly rate.
Meet & Greet
If requested, our chauffeur will meet you inside the terminal with a name sign. Standard pickups are curbside at the designated pickup area.
Liability Limitations
Service Delays
While we strive for punctuality, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Personal Property
We are not responsible for items left in vehicles. While we make reasonable efforts to return lost items, we cannot guarantee recovery.
Consequential Damages
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including missed flights, appointments, or events.
Insurance
All Royal Carriage Limousine vehicles are fully insured with commercial auto liability insurance as required by law. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
Changes to Service
We reserve the right to substitute a similar or upgraded vehicle if the reserved vehicle becomes unavailable. You will be notified of any changes before your scheduled service.
Disputes
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. You agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal action.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
